The Resonant Self is a deeply immersive retreat designed to guide you back to your inner rhythm through the integrated practices of somatic awareness, archetypal astrology, and sound healing. Held in January, this retreat offers a powerful opportunity to set the energetic tone for 2026 and explore the themes shaping the year ahead.

Together, your hosts Karen Loving and Cara Cutro weave a weekend of gentle self-exploration, nourishing meals, and intuitive embodiment—set within the serene natural landscape of Seven Oaks Retreat Center in Madison, Virginia.

What to Expect

- Evening sound baths to ground and harmonize the nervous system
- Moving practices to deepen insights and reflection
- Astrology-based embodiment work- exploring archetypes through the lens of your birth chart
- Experience creative body awareness for centering and grounding

You'll also have unstructured time to rest, journal, nap, or walk the land (weather permitting). While January may be chilly, the surrounding forest and quiet atmosphere offer a powerful container for introspection and retreat.

Accommodations + Pricing

All rooms are simple, cozy, and located in shared retreat lodges. All meals are ovo-lacto vegetarian, with gluten-free and vegan options available by request. Meals, snacks, and beverages are included.

If you’re not ready to pay in full, you may reserve your space with a $300 non-refundable deposit. Deposits will be accepted until October 31. The remaining balance will be due by December 10, 2025. We will invoice you for the remaining balance.

Please note: Seven Oaks operates under a cooperative service model. This means guests are asked to tidy up after meals and strip their own linens before departure. This is not a hotel experience- there is no waitstaff or housekeeping service. We believe this adds to the communal, grounded, and intentional nature of the space.

Retreat Schedule (Subject to Flow)

-Check-in: Friday, January 23 at 3:00 PM
-Light snacks followed by a welcome dinner, group opening, and sound bath
- Saturday: A full day of somatic and astrological exploration, ritual, and rest
- Sunday: Morning integration + lunch before departure at 3:00 PM, January 25

Important Policies

-All payments are non-refundable.
  However, if you cannot attend, you may transfer your payment to a future retreat.
- No refunds will be issued under any circumstance. Thank you for understanding the boundaries we’ve set to protect the integrity of this offering.
